Led the product design evolution of one of the Middle East's largest ecommerce platforms, optimising the mobile shopping experience for 30 million monthly active users.

The Challenge

Noon's rapid growth had outpaced its design system. Inconsistencies across the app created friction, particularly in search, product discovery, and checkout — the three most critical conversion funnels.

Approach

I led the mobile-first redesign of core shopping flows. We rebuilt the search experience with visual filters, redesigned product cards to surface the most decision-relevant information, and streamlined checkout to three taps from cart to confirmation.

Results

The redesigned flows contributed to a 18% increase in conversion rate and a 25% reduction in cart abandonment. The updated design system now serves as the foundation for all product teams across the organisation.
